Faculty Affairs
The Faculty Affairs division of the Office of Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement is responsible for implementation of University policy regarding appointments and promotions, salary setting, leaves, endowed chair appointments, appeals, and other matters of an academic nature.
Faculty Development and Engagement
The primary mission of Faculty Development and Engagement is faculty success. We measure success in the accomplishments of Stanford faculty, the diversity of the faculty, and the many connections that our faculty have with the University. Another way of thinking about our office is that we provide mission support for the Stanford faculty.
